We tested their new brow pen, which is supposed to provide a microblading effect – one of the popular methods of permanent brow makeup, which involves filling in the sparse areas with tiny incisions that mimic natural brow hairs. Does it even work? We were shocked at how our brows looked after filling them in with the pen. We unanimously claim Nanobrow Microblading Pen is “microblading in a tube” 🙂 The unique applicator draws lines so thin that they deceptively resemble natural brow hairs. Eyebrow pen – for whom is it for?

The Nanobrow pen is a great solution for people with severely sparse arches, eyebrow hair loss following an illness, or over-plucked brows that refuse to grow back. With this brow pen, you can easily draw missing hairs and create the effect of voluminous and full eyebrows.

Eyebrow makeup with a brow pen – how to do it?

Apply Nanobrow Microblading Pen to clean and dry eyebrows – do not apply moisturizer or any other brow products to them. Otherwise, the brow pen formula will not be as long-wear as it should. The brow pen won’t cling properly to the skin under the eyebrows if something gets in the way.

Hold the tip of the brow pen perpendicular to the skin. This way you will be able to draw very precise and thin lines. Starting from the middle part of the eyebrow, draw thin lines upward in short, gentle strokes with the natural direction of brow growth. Notice that the eyebrows grow in different directions – closer to the nose the hairs are almost vertical, and at the tail, they slant. To keep your eyebrows looking natural while filling them in, follow the direction of hair growth. Define the beginning of the brow very subtly. Once the brow pen has dried, you can apply other brow products on top!

Our beauty tip: the icing on the cake of brow makeup done with a brow pen is to comb out the brows with a clear gel. We love Nanobrow Lamination Gel for this. The eyebrows will gain extra volume and stay in place all day.
